James Edward Leidlein was born October 31, 1951 in Saginaw Michigan and entered into rest June 16, 2012 in Harper Woods at the age of 60.
James was the dearest husband of Kathleen and beloved father of Katrina (Scott) Pokriefka, Eric, David (Erin) and Catherine (Ken) LaChance. As well as dearest grandfather to Aisley, Elliot, and Aurora, he was Brother to Richard (Gerry), Thomas (Ann), Pamela, Robert (Margie) and Patrick (Kelly) and loving son of Mrs. Richard Leidlein. Brother-in-law of Martha Hurford.
He was involved in Public Administration for 35 years. James sat on the board of the Michigan Municipal League and was an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University and University of Michigan.
