Pattie led a very active life. Her most sedentary activity was playing bridge at Lochmoor Club for many years, and being a member of the Friends of St. Clair Shores Library.
Cars were a passion for Mrs. Klimchuk. Sponsored by Edmund T. Ahee Jewelers and Belle Tire she raced Porsches and Hondas on tracks. She volunteered at the Detroit Grand Prix through the Sports Car Club of America. Looking for additional excitement, she worked in pit row at auto races in Melbourne, Australia.
She and her husband, the late Murray M. Klimchuk, MD traveled the world by air and sea, playing golf along the way including the legendary St. Andrews in Scotland - the birthplace of golf. She continued to travel with friends after the death of her beloved Murray in 1983.
